Offstage, Mat is a PhD candidate at Emory University in Religion. Sarah Ruiz (Donatella)
Sarah Ruiz (Donatella) is thrilled to make her STM Players debut in The Wedding Singer! By day, she spends her time balancing spreadsheets instead of choreography. Stepping onto the stage has been a dream, and she's loving every big-hair, neon-soaked minute of bringing the '80s back to life as Donatella. When she's not in rehearsal, you can find her hanging out with her dog, watching her grass grow (it's more exciting than it sounds), or reading her horoscope for signs of a standing ovation. Sarah sends a huge thank you to the cast, crew, and directors for welcoming her so warmly, and to her family and friends for their endless support. Enjoy the show!
